One may well ask: "How can you advocate breaking some laws and obeying others?" The answer lies in the fact that there are two types of laws: just and unjust. I would be the first to advocate obeying just laws.
Very intresting, how he qoutes this sentence. Mainly “just and unjust laws” focus on discrimination as it demishes African Americans during that time. The whites are the elite people who seem to obey some sections of what the laws requires. King questions, is it “unjust” for African Americans to sit in the same resturants as whites while they eat their meal.
