The government's a G-Unit and they might buck young

from Common – A Letter to the Law on Rap Genius

G-Unit is 50 Cent’s posse, of which Young Buck was a member. A play on his name: young blacks (“young bucks” — note the reference here to Reagan’s famous description of a “strapping young buck” on welfare) are likely to get “bucked”, i.e. shot.

The play on words is the reference to “G-Men” as slang for the FBI, with the G standing for “Government.” Officials charged with enforcing the law, Common suggests, are prone to harass and attack black males they suspect of criminal behavior. An additional implication is that it is often impossible to tell gangsters and police apart.
