And welcomes little fishes in
With gently smiling jaws!

from Lewis Carroll – How Doth the Little Crocodile on Rap Genius

The crocodile gulps up the fish, thus conveying the moral of the poem–strangers are dangerous! They are deceptive and vicious. While Alice misses the “work ethic” message of “how doth the little busy bee”, she hits at one probably more important for her own situation. In Wonderland, a world full of strange and mysterious creatures, Alice has to be wary of those she meets because appearances can be very deceiving.
