@mistressofsisyphus mentioned this app so I downloaded it. It’s pretty addictive. The Poetry questions are okay, but they’re pretty limited: literally half of them are about Whitman, the other half about Shelley & Keats, Eliot & Pound, and a smattering of Old/Middle English stuff.

There’s also a Shakespeare category which is better done, and some other lit-related categories.

Anyone else playing? Let’s have some PG showdowns!

Good to know they got their priorities right :) I’ve found that I still suck at both the Poetry and Novels categories, which makes me a little self conscious about the diversity of the things I read. If you want to play me, I think you can find me by searching Dalmo Mendonça.

Haha, I knew as soon as I clicked post I’d left myself wide open for that. Our contest was pretty tight, though– those last two questions were some of the hardest I’ve seen. Wouldn’t say they’re objective enough to judge your own reading by! Hopefully they’ll improve in scope and depth as the app grows.
