Click on each gif and then label which statement is the Concrete Detail (CD) and which one is the Commentary (CM). Then explain WHY you chose each label.

Sample Answer #1 (Drake):

• “Drake is THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE!” This is a commentary (CM) because it is an opinion. Other people might disagree and think Drake is not the greatest rapper alive.

• “Drake raps on his latest album: ‘You know it’s real when you are who you think you are.’ ” This is a concrete detail (CD) because it is a quote from one of his songs.
