Motograter

About Motograter

Motograter is a metalcore (formerly industrial nu-metal) band formed from the shells of its previous two incarnations.

This band’s original vocalist, Zak Ward, switched to keyboards and samples after the band released its first two EPs. Vocalist was taken over by Ivan L. Moody (soon-to-be vocalist for Ghost Machine and, more significantly, Five Finger Death Punch) just in time for their eponymous full-length album.

After this release, the band went on a five-year hiatus until 2008, when a replacement was found for Moody: Michael Woodruff. He was in the band for the release of the Pre-Release EP in 2009. Woodruff would stay as vocalist until he left in 2014; James Anthony Legion replaced him and is Motograter’s current vocalist.
