Fina Birulés is professor of Philosophy at the Universitat de Barcelona. She has been part of the “Filosofia i gènere” (“philosophy and gender”) seminar since it’s creation in 1989. The liens of research articulated in her work are, in part, feminist theory and the study of female philosophical production, specially the work of Hannah Arendt and other female philosophers of the 20th century. Her research is also interested in contemporary philosophy, in particular the philosophy of history.
