About Ace of Hearts

Ace of Hearts is a Los Angeles-based band formed out of vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Jacob “Alpharad” Rabon IV and producer/multi-instramentalist Luke “Lukebigguitar” Wheeler.

The band’s debut single Fool for You was released on April 1st, 2020, alongside a lyric video on Rabon’s YouTube channel, teasing two upcoming projects from the band; their debut EP Monophobia, which released on June 4th of the same year (delayed from May 20th due to Spotify mistakenly tagging the band for fraud after fans streamed Fool for You over a thousand times on their own), as well as their debut full-length album Scorpion Queen, which ended up being released as an EP on December 13th, 2020.
The band has dabbled in a variety of genres and styles, with their debut EP Monophobia boasting everything from pop rock love songs to personal and introspective ballads with dark, electronic production over the span of 4 tracks, featuring frequent backup vocals from Adriana Figueroa. Monophobia and Scorpion Queen were originally supposed to be one and the same project, however the two had to be separated due to the lead vocalist feeling that he couldn’t yet perform some of the vocal melodies on the record accurately, delaying the full-length album to the end of 2020. This was revealed in a twitter video posted by Rabon on the official Ace of Hearts twitter account titled very bittersweet update on the album, “Scorpion Queen”.

Scorpion Queen released on December 13th, 2020 as a 3-track EP featuring collaborations from Johnny Manchild & The Poor Bastards, Adriana Figueroa and Deanna Gowland.
