I am a huge fan of institutions citing Twitter stats to try to prove the veracity of an argument. It’s really funny; if you have ever seen daylight it’s pretty obvious that the web, or the social web, is a tiny simulacrum of a small section the world, and should rarely be taken seriously.

It’s especially funny when the first half of this article questions the legitimacy of the Twitter platform so passionately.

Muslims playing victim pisses me off. The Muslim world “abolished” slavery around 50 years ago. They had white slaves and they had sex slaves, complete with castrated harem guards and everything. The Muslim world exploited Africa as much as Europe and the Americas did (and China does now). You can not identify your oppressors by the color of their skin.
