That week, we had studied an extract called ‘The Last Night’, from Sebastian Faulk’s novel ‘Charlotte Gray’, in which two young boys await transport to the death camps during World War Two.

After spending time sorting out technical issues, I finally got around to some writing. Which, to be fair, is barely teaching. But writing alongside pupils is important.
