Echoing bad Wordsworth poems isn’t going to help, you know, you poor BBC writer.

Unless you’re trying to evoke old Wordsworth’s super right wing switch from his radical beginnings, in which case, good plan; you need to hide your probable “Remain” sentiments from the angry pro-Brexit people.

cf.

“Thought of a Briton on the Subjugation of Switzerland” among other poems.

Not so much the “United” Kingdom voted to leave the EU as old people in England and Wales did.

From the BBC as well, a breakdown of the numbers:

England voted strongly for Brexit, by 53.4% to 46.6%, as did Wales, with Leave getting 52.5% of the vote and Remain 47.5%.

Scotland and Northern Ireland both backed staying in the EU. Scotland backed Remain by 62% to 38%, while 55.8% in Northern Ireland voted Remain and 44.2% Leave.

This, however, I find interesting, and I’m curious if there’s a quota-cap system in place or something of that nature. I believe Japan – and maybe South Korea – have a top limit on how many people they’ll allow to immigrate to the country per year.

Here we see the U.K.’s well-known hatred of polish at play – they despise it in all forms – fluoride polish to turn their teeth shiny white? No way!

Toenail polish? Practically the worst idea ever. It quickly turns to scum on their feet when it fails to dry, seeing as the sun was last spotted in England in the year 1926.

I came here to learn about Brexit though – I already learned about the British hatred of all things polish when I was in High School.

I’m not sure Bob is real. What type of drunk dude goes to the “pub” to pound back some British beer and then – explain his political views to people who, I assume, were obviously foreign.

Soccer – I thought you wrote about all the things that aren’t American things, Mr. Beauchamp. Your patriotism is showing!

As in, both: why don’t we play “Cause I Love You” by Lenny Williams; and, why don’t we play “Overnight Celebrity” because the ladies are sure to love this track.

Lenny Williams’s oft-sampled track is widely regarded as one of the great soul tracks. Kanye often points out how well-loved the tracks he’s sampling are, especially on Twista collabs; for example, the entire premise of “Slow Jamz” is the love the ladies have for old soul hits:

I'mma play this Vandross, you gon' take your pants off
I'mma play this Gladys Knight, me and you gon' get right
