Ode to Deodorant / Brothers + Sisters is the first Extended Play of the British rock band Coldplay.
It was released on January 16, 1998, a time when the band was known as “The Coldplay”.
The EP has the first and original version of Brothers & Sisters which was known as “Brothers + Sisters” at first; and Ode To Deodorant was one of Coldplay’s first studio recordings, the first song they recorded following the release of Safety EP. The 2-track demo, titled “The Coldplay” was recorded circa 1998 on a master CDR and distributed on cassette tape.
