About “Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z...”

Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z… is 2Pac’s second studio album and it was released on February 16, 1993. The backronym N.I.G.G.A. stands for Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished. This album saw more commercial success than his debut 2Pacalypse Now due in large part to the success of the singles “Keep Ya Head Up” and “I Get Around,” which both were released after the album’s lead single, the fiery “Holler If Ya Hear Me.” 2Pac was still politically charged, and showed this in part by placing audio of former Vice President Dan Quayle condemning 2Pac and his debut album on the track “Pac’s Theme.”

The album peaked at #24 on the Billboard 200 and #4 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart before it reached platinum status two years later.
