MVC Lyrics

Ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh-rails,

Ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh-ruh-rails,

Today we learned how to use rails,

Made files never needed before,

Like routes, controller and something called seed,

That was in app.rb before
,

now, now, now

I’m gonna teach you,

teach you, teach you,

All about Rails yea,

Sinatra was so much lighter ya see

but atleast they both use MVC,

M-V-C,
easy as 1..2..3,

just type rails g,

rake:db, then you’ll see

you’re living in rails woooorld,

M-V-C,

easy as 1..2..3,

just type rails g,

rake:db, then you’ll see

you’re living in rails woooorld,

come on type rails new & wait a lil bit,

you’ll appreciate not having to type it out,

come on, come on, come on,

let me show you how to code it out,
Model, view, controller

are the branches of the MVC,

but with the help of scaffold ability,

the directory almost complete,

ra-ra-ra rails is gonna show you,

(it’s gonna show you),

where to put the views,

(where to put the views),

controller, routes, the model too,

make the routes RESTful,

that’s all you gotta do,

M-V-C,

easy as 1..2..3,
just type rails g,

rake:db, then you’ll see

you’re living in rails woooorld,

make building apps so easy,

without redundancy,

sing a silly melody,

see how fun coding can be,

see how fun coding can be,

sing a silly melody,

MVC, rails and me!
