Walt: Mmhmm. Cooking 100 pounds a week, not fifty. As in, starting a lab, a lab that you'll run. A cook all of your own. Why not, you deserve it. You're every bit as good as me. Well, what do you think?

Meaning

Another example of Walt manipulating Jesse to get what he wants. In Season 3’s “Más”, Walt tells Jesse that his cooking ability is inferior to his in every way, and that he will never be a success on his own. This is because he had no need for an assistant at the time, so he could belittle him as much as he wanted. But now that he actually needs Jesse in order to expand his empire, he praises his cook as every bit as good as his. Walt has been playing mind games with Jesse since the very first episode of this show, but Jesse is finally starting to catch on to them now.
