Walt: One of these days when you come up here, I'll be dead. My money over there, what happens to it then? What if I asked you to give it to my family? Would you do it?

The extractor: If I said yes, would you believe me?

Meaning

In earlier episodes, Walt would have been able to use fear to persuade others to do what he wants. Take, for example, an exchange from Season 5 Episode 10 “Buried” in which Huell suggests that he and Kuby pocket some of Walt’s cash:

Huell: Mexico. All’s I’m saying.
Kuby: Guy hit ten guys in jail within a two-minute window. All’s I’m saying.

In Walt’s current emaciated and emotionally fragile state, he no longer commands the same power over people that he once did. This was already touched upon earlier in this episode.
