For the first 3 and a half days you meditate on your breath to develop concentration.
There’s a progression of instructions within the breath thing. The object of meditation changes a little each day
Day 1 — The whole path of the breath (that you’re breathing)
Day 2 — The feeling of your breath inside the nostrils and on the rims of the nostrils
Day 3 — Any sensations on your upper lip, due to breath or anything
